He joins the ranks of the other Limited Partners, Patrice Lagnaux and Alessandro Caldana, who are also active within the Bank. Gr\u00e9goire Bordier, Evrard Bordier and Christian Skaanild remain the Managing Partners with unlimited personal liability.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alo\u00efs Sommer (53), a Swiss-French national, joined Bordier &amp; Cie in February 2007 in Zurich. A specialist in Eastern Europe, he manages a diverse client base that he has carefully and diligently developed since joining the Bank. Today this clientele has grown to represent more than CHF 1 billion in assets under management.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be expanding our Partnership with the nomination of Alo\u00efs Sommer, who has been actively growing our Bank\u2019s business in Zurich for the past 18 years,\u201d says Evrard Bordier. \u201cHis cross-border experience and multi-disciplinary expertise have provided a unique perspective for our teams in Zurich. This nomination is the just reward for a shining career that has constantly upheld the key values that we share: ethics, expertise and transparency.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Alo\u00efs completed a baccalaureate in classics (Greek and Latin) at the Coll\u00e8ge de Sta\u00ebl in Geneva. He went on to graduate in civil engineering from the EPFL before completing his doctoral thesis in earthquake engineering at the ETH Zurich.
