Bordier & Cie at the Gonet Geneva Open 2025

On Saturday, May 24, we had the pleasure of welcoming our clients to the final of the Gonet Geneva Open 2025, held in the idyllic setting of Parc des Eaux-Vives. Throughout the day, they enjoyed a private area reserved for Bordier & Cie within the “Village”, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The matches began with the doubles tennis final at noon, where Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul secured victory against Ariel Behar and Joran Vliegen after a tightly contested encounter: 6–7(4), 6–4, [11–9].

The highlight of the day was the singles final between Novak Djokovic and Hubert Hurkacz. After more than three hours of intense play, Djokovic triumphed 5–7, 7–6(2), 7–6(2), winning his 100th ATP singles title. This historic moment further cements the Serbian champion’s place among tennis legends. The intensity and quality of the match captivated all guests.

It was an unforgettable day marked by sport, camaraderie, and shared moments.

These exclusive moments reflect Bordier & Cie’s commitment to cultivating strong, lasting relationships with our clients.

Last May, we had the pleasure of welcoming our investors and peers from the private markets sector to a lunch organised by Bordier & Cie at the SAFRE restaurant in Geneva’s Quartier des Banques.

Christian Skaanild, Managing Partner at Bordier & Cie, led a thought-provoking discussion with Pål Ristvedt, Partner at Lexington Capital Partners, and James Seppala, Partner and Head of European Real Estate at Blackstone. Together, they explored the growth dynamics of this asset class, liquidity challenges, exit strategies, and the trends currently shaping private markets.

The interplay of perspectives from the real estate and secondary markets, both converging and contrasting, fostered a nuanced exchange between senior investors from each of these strategies.

The meeting of real estate and secondary perspectives was marked by the quality of the discussions, a pleasant setting, a refined meal, and valuable contacts around a central theme: private markets.
