Nyon Office Strengthens Bordier & Cie’s Pension Offering Through a New Strategic Partnership

Bordier & Cie continues to expand its pension offering by welcoming a new strategic partner: Liberty. This partnership marks an important milestone in strengthening our offering for Swiss clients and reflects our commitment to providing increasingly comprehensive pension solutions tailored to their needs.

Through this collaboration, we now offer our clients access to two new vested benefits foundations as well as a 1e pension foundation for extra-mandatory occupational pension plans. We have also completed our offering by introducing a Pillar 3a solution, an important component that was previously missing from our range of pension services.

Founded in 2005, Liberty has established itself as one of the pioneers of independent pension solutions in Switzerland. Its business model is based on an open architecture, providing clients with a broad choice of pension solutions and investment strategies. Today, Liberty administers more than CHF 6 billion in pension assets on behalf of over 63,000 pension account holders, making it one of Switzerland’s leading independent pension providers.

Its independence, innovative approach and digitalised operating model were key factors in our decision to establish this partnership.

This new partnership builds on the development of Bordier’s pension advisory business, initiated by the Nyon office in 2012. Since then, we have steadily expanded our offering through collaborations with recognised partners, including Elite, PensExpert, Opsion and FCT Trianon. The addition of Liberty further strengthens this ecosystem and broadens the range of solutions available to our clients.

Today, Bordier & Cie offers a comprehensive range of Swiss pension solutions. We provide personalised advice and support in relation to extra-mandatory occupational pension plans (2nd pillar), vested benefits, Pillar 3a, and Pillar 3b, notably through our partnership with Baloise Life (Liechtenstein).

With this now comprehensive offering, we reaffirm our commitment to fully integrating pension planning into our holistic wealth management approach. Our ambition is to support our clients throughout every stage of their lives by providing tailored solutions aligned with their wealth planning, tax and succession objectives. The addition of Liberty further reinforces this commitment and represents another important step in the continued development of our expertise for the benefit of our Swiss clientele.
