Group Acquisition Meeting 2025

In March, we were pleased to host the annual Group Acquisition Meeting at our London office and The Cavendish Hotel. A highlight of the event was a team lunch, which offered colleagues the chance to connect and share with visiting team members from across the Group’s international locations.

We were also honored to welcome two outstanding guest speakers. Chris Ford, Senior Fund Manager at the Sanlam Global AI Fund, shared insights on the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in our everyday lives. Claire Williams OBE, former Deputy Team Principal of Williams Formula 1, offered a captivating look into her family’s legacy and the high-pressure world of managing a Formula 1 team at the top of global motorsport.

And for any motorsport enthusiasts keen to hear more; the session was recorded, so feel free to reach out!

Recognition for Bordier UK at industry awards

2025 has been another successful year for Bordier UK on the awards front.

In April, we were honoured to receive the award for ‘Discretionary Fund Management (DFM) Offering’ at the WealthBriefing European Awards. The recognition continued in May, when we were named ‘Asset Manager of the Year (under £25bn AUM)’ at the Wealth & Asset Management Awards.

These accolades are a testament to our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest standards of service and investment management solutions to our clients and their advisers.

A fresh look for the London office

The London office has had a dynamic start to 2025, marked by exciting developments on both the leadership and workspace fronts.

In January, we were delighted to welcome Ian Heap as our new CEO. To celebrate the occasion, the team gathered for a toast, with champagne kindly provided by our colleagues in Geneva. Ian brings over 20 years of experience at Bordier UK, having served as a Director for the past five years and led the portfolio management team. His deep knowledge of the UK business and market makes him ideally suited to lead the next phase of growth.

In parallel, we are undertaking a refresh of our client meeting spaces, in line with the Group’s evolving visual identity. The redesign will bring a more refined and contemporary atmosphere, with renovation work scheduled to take place over the summer months.
